The upper floor of the museum is dedicated to the people and their ways of life. This section has exhibits that tell you about the original inhabitants of the city and their ways of life. Before growing up to be a mega city, Mumbai was a group of 7 islands and was a village with agricultural land and farming being the main source of livelihood. The exhibits show a village with an idyllic setting and people going about their normal ways of life.
